After a good start to the year, Unicol have found themselves in a slump. It showed as in the later stages of each half the team got their heads down and struggled to maintain any pressure.
Claudelands forwards did a fantastic job of holding the ball up allowing their supporting players to get into space and apply pressure. Each goal came at a crucial time to keep the Unicol fightback well controlled.
Stand out player:
Rene Jekel - As always Rene ran well and attracted multiple defenders. His goal was due to his outstanding commitment, stealing the ball from the keepers grasp.
Player of the day:
Manonpagna Chin (RB) - Buns had a very good game. He came to play with intensity and managed to rally the boys at important times.
